(San Francisco, CA) 24 April 2012: Call for Applications for Clausen Fellowship, Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) Manager
Organizational overview:

Microclinic International (MCI) is an organization that works with local community partners to set up public health educational programs targeting large scale public health epidemics. Last year, MCI partnered with the Cumberland Valley District Health Department in Bell County, Kentucky to establish its first project within the United States. The program takes advantage of natural social networks by allowing participants to group with friends and family members. These small groups, or “microclinics”, promote accountability for making lifestyle changes to promote sustainable health improvements. The Kentucky project is beginning the second year of its two-year pilot program and MCI is conducting a randomized controlled trial (RCT) to study the effectiveness of the program model.
