The Global Micro-Clinic Project’s Annual Holiday Benefit Party in San Francisco on December 5, 2009 at the Italian Farmhouse Mansion was a major success. Over 400 donors were in attendance to help support the GMCP’s efforts to empower people to prevent and manage disease in the developing world.
Over $15,000 was raised from the event, including money raised at the door, silent auction, raffle, and donor pledges. “The overwhelming support showed by GMCP’s supporters will greatly help the GMCP expand its operations fighting diabetes in Jordan and India, and HIV/AIDS in Kenya. I would like to thank all those who contributed to our efforts at the Holiday Benefit Party,” said Matt Werner the coordinator of the event and the GMCP’s Vice President of Marketing, Development, and Communications.
